Marvin Bernard (born on March 31, 1978), better known by his stage name Tony Yayo, is a rapper and member of the hip hop group G-Unit. Tony Yayo was brought up in South Jamaica, Queens, New York and is longtime friends with 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. He is signed to 50 Cent's record label G-Unit Records and recently signed a deal with EMI which will release his second untitled album. He is CEO to the label G-Unit Philly.

Music career

G-Unit

G-Unit boss 50 Cent was granted his own record label, "G-Unit Records" by Interscope after releasing his debut album ''Get Rich or Die Tryin'''. Soon after the group had established their own record label, G-Unit Records, G-Unit released their first official group album ''Beg for Mercy'' in November 2003, which went on to be certified 2x Platinum in the United States. The album was released whilst Tony Yayo was in prison serving time, but Yayo still featured on the album. The second G-Unit album T.O.S: Terminate on Sight was released in July, 2008 and went on to sell 102,000 copies in the first week, and later going Gold shipping nearly 700,000 copies.

Solo career

Though his appearances on mixtapes announced his return on the street level, it was not until the release of "So Seductive" that his return received wide recognition. In August 2005, Tony Yayo released his debut, ''Thoughts of a Predicate Felon''.

Tony Yayo has confirmed that work is in progress for his second studio album. No official name for the album has been decided yet. The first single off the album is "Pass the Patron", and it features 50 Cent. The album will be released with G-Unit Records / EMI who will both promote and distribute the album. On March 2, 2011 Yayo released the second single of off his upcoming album called, "Haters". The song features Shawty Lo, 50 Cent, & Roscoe Dash. The single was released onto Thisis50.com after being premiered on Hot 97 by Funkmaster Flex. The single rapidly started to gain success on the urban radio charts and soon debuted on the Billboard Hip-Hop/R&B chart. A new track leaked recently titled "Just Like 50" featuring newly signed G-unit artisits Mike Knox and Paris this song could potentially be Yayo's next single off his untitled second album

Of Haitian descent, he has taken part in aid to the Haitian people after the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Yayo has worked with different charities and events in support of the relief efforts.

Labels

In 2003 Tony Yayo was signed to Interscope Records, where he released his debut album Thoughts of a Predicate Felon. In 2009, he was later dropped from Interscope Records. After being dropped by Interscope Records it was announced EMI Label Services has signed a deal with 50 Cent’s label, G-Unit Records, in which EMI will distribute and promote releases on the G-Unit roster in North America including Tony Yayo's untitled second album. Lloyd Banks announced this on Friday, August 13, 2010 on MTV News.

Legal issues

Felony jail time

Along with 50 Cent, Yayo was arrested on December 31, 2002 for weapons possession. He had a Glock 20 handgun and a Colt AR 15 in the trunk of his car. When police discovered that Yayo had an outstanding warrant for a previous such charge, Yayo was sentenced for bail jumping and spent all of 2003 in prison. Yayo served time in the Lakeview Shock Incarceration Correctional Facility and was paroled on January 8, 2004. The next day, he was arrested for possessing a forged passport and served time in federal prison until May 25, 2004. When Yayo was incarcerated, G-Unit and Eminem began a campaign called "Free Yayo".

Assault charge

On March 24, 2007, Tony Yayo was arrested for allegedly assaulting the 14 year-old son of The Game's manager, Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond. Tony Yayo and 50 Cent were accused of approaching the child, with members of their entourage, and pushing him against a nearby wall. This was when Tony Yayo reportedly slapped the boy several times and said "Fuck Czar Entertainment". Tony Yayo has pleaded "not guilty" and 50 Cent has since proven his innocence with video footage showing him at his Connecticut mansion at the time of the alleged incident.

Tony Yayo made his first court appearance on the morning of April 25, 2007 in New York. The case was adjourned to July 24. Tony Yayo's Lawyer has expressed his belief that Yayo is innocent and commented on the situation in an interview with MTV:

On April 18, 2007, the house of Tony Yayo’s mother was "sprayed with bullets". The attack is believed to be in connection with Tony Yayo’s recent arrest. Yayo references the attack on the G-Unit song Straight Out of Southside, off T.O.S., the group's second album.

On July 24, 2007, Tony Yayo attended a court hearing regarding his alleged assault. The prosecution offered him a nine-month prison sentence if he pleaded guilty which he rejected.

Prosecutors dropped the charges in February 2008. The mother of Rosemond's son sued 50 Cent and Yayo two months later.

Om Prakash Chautala (born 1 January 1935) is an Indian politician from the state of Haryana and the leader of the Indian National Lok Dal political party. He is a former Chief Minister of Haryana. Presently, he is the Leader of Opposition in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.

Chautala is the son of Chaudhari Devi Lal, a former deputy prime minister of India. He was born in a Jaat family of Sihag gotra. He was the Chief Minister of Haryana from 2 December 1989 to 2 May 1990, from 12 July 1990 to 17 July 1990, again from 22 March 1991 to 6 April 1991 and finally from 24 July 1999 to 4 March 2005. Politically, he had been part of NDA and Third Front at national level. But still he describe the Congress and BJP as Saampnath and Naagnath.

Controversies

Many Controversies have been associated with Chautala since the beginning of his political career.

Chautala was publicly disowned by his father Devi Lal. He had allegedly smuggled gold watches worth Rs 100,000. Even his sons had been accused of being involved in controversies.

Meham was perhaps.............. his biggest political controversy, which brought him into national attention. The shadow of Meham was to dog him right up to 1996, when the Justice K.N. Saikia Commission indicted him as an accessory after the fact in the killing of Amir Singh.

Chautala has been accused of protecting the then Director General of Police , SPS Rathore in the Ruchika Girhotra child molestation case. The matter, as of now, is sub-judice.

Indicting the former Chief Minister, his two sons, Abhay and Ajay, and their wives for amassing disproportionate assets worth Rs 1,467 crore, the CBI has filed a chargesheet in a Delhi Court. The CBI has submitted that Om Prakash Chautala and his family acquired more than 80 properties in different parts of India from 1993 to 2006.

Om Parkash Chautala is also accused in number of other cases including the much publicised JBT Scam. The CBI filed Chargesheet, as per which in the year 1999–2000, 3032 teachers were recruited by the former CM and his son Ajay Chautala along with the other accused on the basis of forged documents. The matter was registered by the CBI on the direction of the Supreme Court and the CBI seized documents and properties in lakhs from various places.

Om Parkash Chautala is accused by his opponents to amass wealth using the official position. He was presented numerous costly presents including crowns ans Gold Brick.

Om Prakash (19 December 1919 – 21 February 1998) was an Indian character actor. He was born in Jammu as Om Prakash Chibber. He used to play the role of Kamla in the stage play by the famous Dewan Mandir Natak Samaj Koliwada. Starting his career in 1942, he was a popular supporting actor from the 1950s until the 1980s. He was one of the elite of the film industry. Some of his performances were so memorable thatthe lead actor in the film attributed the success of the film to him.

Om Prakash played the leading man in films like ''Dus Lakh'', ''Annadata'' and ''Charandas'''Sadhu aur Shaitan'. His pivotal roles in the films ''Dil Daulat Duniya'', ''Chupke Chupke'', ''Julie'', ''Joroo Ka Ghulam'', ''Aa Gale Lag Jaa'', ''Pyar Kiye Jaa'' and ''Buddha Mil Gaya'' are considered to be among his best along with Daddu in ''Namak Halaal'' and De Silva in ''Zanjeer''. His roles in 'Sharabi', 'Bharosa', 'Tere Ghar Ke Samne', 'Mere Humdum Mere Dost', 'Loafar', 'Dil Tera Diwana' were also appreciated.

He is known for his roles in comedy films. One of his best performances in his later years were ''Naukar Biwi Ka'', ''Sharaabi'' (1984) and ''Chameli Ki Shaadi'', where he played a role that was pivotal for the movie.

Early life and education

Om Prakash Chibber was born in Jammu on 19 December 1919? He was fascinated by theatre, music and films. He started taking lessons in classical music when he was just twelve and was recognised as a master in no time.

Career

He joined All India Radio in 1937 on a monthly salary of Rs 25. He was known as “Fateh Din”, a radio personality and his programmes made him popular all over Lahore and Punjab.

He was regaling people at a wedding one day when the well-known film-maker Dalsukh Pancholi spotted him and asked to see him in his Lahore office. Pancholi gave Prakash his first break as an actor in a film called ''Daasi''. He was paid only Rs 80 but the film earned him the kind of recognition that would give him a means of livelihood for a lifetime. It was his first major role; he had played a bit role in ''Sharif Badmash'', a silent film. He followed his good work in ''Daasi'' with Pancholi’s ''Dhamki'' and ''Aayee Bahar'' and became a force to reckon with.

Soon after the Partition he came to Delhi and then to Bombay (now Mumbai). Baldev Raj Chopra noticed his talent when he was a film journalist and critic; he urged Prakash to carry on with his acting career. He was sure Om Prakash had the talent to prove himself as a versatile actor. The actor had to face some struggle initially. He got his first big break in Bombay as a villain in a film called ''Lakhpati''. It won him acclaim and got him more “meaty” roles in films like ''Lahore'', ''Char Din'' and ''Raat Ki Rani''. It was during this phase in his career that he did ''Azaad'' with Dilip Kumar, ''Sargam'' with Raj Kapoor and ''Miss Mary'', ''Bahar'', ''Pehli Jhalak'', ''Asha'' and ''Manmauji'' with Kishore Kumar followed by ''Howrah Bridge'' with Ashok Kumar and then ''Tere Ghar Ke Samne'' with Dev Anand. He was marked out for his performance in both films in spite of the presence of powerful star personas like Dilip Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar and Dev Anand. He had developed a style of his own, a style which was going to take him places, make him a big name in the world of film entertainment for the next forty years.

Om Prakash soon became a household name. He was good in almost every character he played. He was the comedian, the family man burdened with problems, the munshi, the alcoholic fallen on bad days because of the evil designs of the villain, the nagged husband, the old man in love, the wily politician and the big brother with a heart of gold. He played an assortment of characters with the same ease and had some of the best directors opting for him every time they had a role which they felt only he could play.

Om Prakash was versatile actor with 307 films to his credit. One can never forget his comic performances in Howrah Bridge, Dus Lakh (he won his first major award for this performance), Pyar Kiye Jaa, Padosan, Sadhu Aur Shaitaan, Dil Daulat Duniya, Chupke Chupke, Namak Halaal, Gol Maal and Chameli Ki Shaadi. His performance as Dilip Kumar’s elder brother in Gopi gave his career a new impetus. He proved that he could play mature roles with the same ease, the same depth: Films like Chacha Zindabad, Khandan, Haryali Aur Raasta, Dil Apna Aur Preet Paraayi, Pati Patni, Neend Hamari Khwab Tumhare, Mere Hamdam Mere Dost, Annadata, Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati, Doli, Chirag, Amar Prem, Aankh Micholi, Ek Hasina Do Diwane, Anuraag, Zanjeer, Sagina, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Loafer, Roti, Julie, Khushboo, Laawaris, Bandish, Sharaabi and Chameli Ki Shaadi.

Om Prakash was one of the most loved and respected father figures in the industry. His ready wit, his earthy humour, his lack of airs, his disdain for hypocrites and hypocrisy, his benevolent nature in helping others to make the best of life and his eternal optimism and romantic nature made him a man in a class by himself, a cut above the rest.

Later years

He lived in Union Park, Chembur, a suburb of Mumbai. The actor who was always so full of life was still full of life till just two days before his death. He knew he was not well. He knew he was suffering from complications but he never gave up his zest for life till his heart betrayed him. He kept calling friends to play a game of rummy or just chat. He had an office at the Roop Tara Studios which was only used for “rummy sessions” and “chat sessions”. Then, some years ago, he shifted his office to the suburbs to make it more convenient for his friends.

Family

His wife Prabha predeceased him. He had no biological children. He lived with his younger brother Bakshi Ram Prakash Chibber who had five children, and he treated them as his children.

Illness and death

He attended this office regularly till his health started failing him. He was confined to his bungalow (next to Ashok Kumar’s bungalow). He suffered his first heart attack in his own bedroom. He was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital where he suffered a second heart attack and went into a coma from which he never came out. He was declared dead at 1.30 pm on February 21. He died at age 78 in Mumbai, India of a heart attack. The news spread fast and the industry was shocked and stunned because he was the kind of man who could not be easily associated with something so sombre and solemn like death.

Khondaker Mosharraf Hossain is a First class and List A cricketer from Bangladesh. He was born on 20 November 1981 in Dhaka and is a left-handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler. He is sometimes known by his nickame Rubel. Making his debut in 2001/02 he has appeared for Dhaka Division up to the end of the 2006/07 season with a season for Barisal Division in 2004/05. He represented Bangladesh A in 2005/06 and 2006/07.

He has taken three five wicket hauls in first class cricket, with a best a remarkable 9 for 105 against Chittagong Division, a game in which he also took 10 in the match. He's also made three first class fifties, with a top score of 85 against Chittagong Division.
